I usually price by hour but this client wants a fixed scope. They're well-funded. Do I assume 30% buffer? More?

I usually pad 40% above my hourly equivalent for fixed-scope. Half goes to the inevitable scope creep, half to my margin.

Add a clause for revisions beyond two rounds. That's where fixed-scope eats your weekends.

Series A clients move fast. They'll respect a higher number if you also commit to a tight delivery window.
